Hebrew Home at Riverdale, a senior living facility in the Bronx, NY, partnered with Ecosave to achieve energy savings and reduce its carbon footprint. Following a multi-phased project that included updated lighting, a new campus-wide building automation system, and various mechanical upgrades, Hebrew Home realized a 32% drop in their annual utility spend—equating to over $750,000 annually.

Ecosave was tasked with providing holistic energy efficiency solutions addressing maintenance, comfort and reliability issues for Constitutional Health Plaza—a multi-purpose medical campus. As a result of the deep energy retrofits and ongoing commissioning performed by Ecosave, the facility is now realizing $520,000 or 52% in annual energy savings.

After an Ecosave project focused on efficient building upgrades, the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey (JFED) embarked on two subsequent phases to install energy generation assets, including a combined heat and power unit, and rooftop solar, resulting in a 50% reduction of annual energy consumption.

Friends’ Central School in Wynnewood, PA, partnered with Ecosave to install a customized set of solutions, including a new building automation system, replacement of end-of-life equipment, HVAC and lighting upgrades, as well as a rooftop solar PV array equipped with hardware and software enabling operational and education analysis. The comprehensive project resulted in a 32% drop in campus energy consumption.

Instantly surrounded by stately architecture and furnishings, it is clear this iconic building has gone to great lengths in preserving its history. Perhaps less obvious are the ways in which it has deployed advanced technologies to operate its systems efficiently while providing comfort and reliability to its many members.
